As you explore the variety of degree programs offered at Trinity Bible College, you will discover that each Bachelor of Arts degree program has a Biblical Studies Major or Minor coupled with another Major or a Minor. The study of the Scripture becomes the foundation for Christian experience and life. It is the revelation of God to mankind and is authoritative for faith and practice.
Each graduate of Trinity should have an understanding of the historical, cultural and religious background of biblical times. Knowledge of God's revelation of Himself and His plan of salvation is fully appreciated through study of the Scripture. In addition, an understanding of orthodox theology and Pentecostal distinctives are important to the completion of the degree program.
Beyond the theoretical understanding of Scripture, it is expected that each student will learn to apply Scriptural truths to everyday living and participate in the worldwide mission of the church.
The number of Bible and Theology credits required for the Biblical Studies component varies related to the additional degree program chosen by the student.
"The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer." -Psalm 19:7-14 NIV
