Personal Information:

I love my missionary husband Chuck and three children; enjoy walks with my family, drinking tea with my grandmother, mother, and sisters, teaching, reading, and exercising, especially aerobics.

I am also an enrolled member of the Gros Ventre tribe, from the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in north central Montana.

I believe God has called me to be an influencer of people for Christ and to be a teacher. I have a passion both for encouraging teachers to view their vocation as a calling and ministry, and for encouraging Native American leaders to answer God's call upon their lives.

Favorite Quote:

Jeremiah 29:11, and Old Testament prophetic word promised to the Israelite captives who were exiled in ancient Babylon: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

I hold on to this verse as a general promise of personal and corporate Christian hope, and as a particular promise of a hopeful future in Christ for our Native peoples who have often felt exiled and without hope.
