One of God's gifts to the church is that of pastor. Perhaps God is leading you to be the pastor of a church, a noble and high calling. Then you would want to choose this degree concentration. The student graduating from this program would experience the broader range of leadership skills necessary to be the pastor of a church in most any setting. If this were a medical degree this might well be considered the General Practitioner of ministry.
The hands-on experiences provided by the practicum and internship requirements add to the effectiveness of the ministry preparation process. A choice of 8, 12 and 24-week internships are available.
