Otherwise known as the "Great Commission", this passage of Scripture reminds us of our calling to evangelize the world. God may have placed a call upon your life to follow Him as a missionary to the "uttermost" parts of the earth. The modern missionary must be well equipped to follow the "commission" of Christ.
This degree program is designed to equip the graduate to minister in either International Cross-Cultural or North American Inter-Cultural ministries. A strong Biblical and Theological Studies emphasis provides the background for the missionary to fulfill the command to make disciples and to teach.
A rigorous General Education component allows the student to explore the world of ideas and knowledge necessary for an understanding of the world and culture around us. It also enables the student to develop communication skills necessary to intelligently present the message of salvation.
The Intercultural Studies and Professional components place an emphasis on the skills and understanding necessary to minister in a variety of locations to diverse people groups. There is also an importance placed on understanding the unique world of missions and missionary practices. A missionary internship is required as an opportunity to put into practice knowledge gleaned from the classroom experience.
Application for acceptance into the Intercultural Studies program is made during the sophomore year of study. Students who desire missionary appointment are advised to consult with the missionary board of their choice for specific procedures and requirements.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age. - Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
