The church ministries minor is designed to prepare students for involvement in a local church setting without pursuing ministerial credentials.
Objectives
Upon completion students should be able to:
- move into significant support roles in ministry.
- articulate biblical truths in today’s culture.
- utilize their God-given skills in a local church setting.
- demonstrate familiarity with various age levels and ministries within the local church.
- articulate leadership skills and character traits needed for servant leadership.
Outcomes Assessment
The outcomes assessment requirement includes:
- a standardized outcomes assessment test, taken during the senior year.
- a Bible content test.

*All Bachelor of Arts students are required to have 128 credits at graduation. If students are seeking only this minor, they will be required to complete a total of 25 credits of electives. However, should they add an additional minor, the number of electives will decrease by the number of credits required for the second minor.
