Steps to Take after Acceptance

  1. Complete the Financial Aid Application Process
    Recommended completion date: April 1st
    You can begin the financial aid process by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (known as the FAFSA) as soon as you have your tax documents. This must be filled out electronically at: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov Trinity's Federal School Code is 012059. After completing the FAFSA you will receive notification of federal aid awarded or notification of additional forms that are needed.

    Trinity also offers a variety of scholarships and tuition waivers to help you finance your education. All scholarship and tuition waivers require a completed application to be submitted for consideration to the Scholarship Committee and Financial Aid department. 

  2. Housing
    Recommended completion date: May 1st. Must be paid before registration occurs.
    For on-campus housing:

    $200 enrollment deposit – (payable by check, money order, or credit card) The enrollment deposit will be applied as a refundable security housing deposit. This deposit will be refunded at the end of your time in the residence halls if there is no damage to your rooms. If you decide to attend a different college and cancel with us by the end of July, then your deposit will be returned to you in full.

    Single students under the age of 23 who are not living at home or with immediate relatives are required to live in residence halls.

    For off-campus housing:

    $200 enrollment deposit – (payable by check, money order, or credit card) This refundable deposit will be applied to your tuition when you register. If you decide to attend a different college and cancel with us by the end of July, then your deposit will be returned to you in full.
  3. Complete your Registration Packet
    Recommended completion date: Dec. 15 Spring, June 15th Fall

  4. Submit all final, official transcripts
  5. We need your transcripts that show your graduation from high school and also official college transcripts from every college you have attended as soon as possible.
    A final transcript must meet the following requirements:

    • Be officially sealed and mailed directly from the school
    • Include a graduation date (month/day/year)
    • Include a final GPA
    • List all courses and grades
  6. Register for classes
    Deadline for registration to avoid paying $100 late registration fee: Spring December 15, Fall August 1st
    Your registration packet will include your TBC username and password and information about how to access your TBC account. Class registration for new students will open in May. All official communication will be through your TBC email account.

  7. Prepare for New Student Orientation
    New Student Orientation begins a few days before classes start and is required for all new students. It begins with on-campus students moving into the dorms and continues with various activities and sessions to introduce you to our Trinity community.
