Emerson & Sandoz Named All-American

For the first time, Trinity Bible College football has National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-Americans. In the past, Don Hanson’s football Gazette named a D-III/small college All-American team which last saw a Lion football player on it back in 2006. This month however, the National NCCAA All-American team was released. This team included 26 of the NCCAA’s best players forming the team and then they also named an Honorable Mention team.

Fellers, Foster, and Hale wrap up their Football Careers

Trinity Bible College traveled to Rapid City, SD, on Saturday to play their season finale against the Hardrockers of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.  It was a beautiful November day in Rapid City for players and fans alike to enjoy.  Trinity was definitely the underdog going in to the game, but as they have done all year, they clocked in for another 60 minutes of work trying to send their three seniors, LB Matt Fellers, OL/DL Nathan Foster, and LB/DE Jimbo Hale out on a good note.  Fellers finished the day with another solid effort of 8 tackles and 2 forced fumbles.

Immaculate Reception Sinks Lions

Trinity Bible College hosted the Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks this past weekend for their homecoming game. This was also part of the Trinity’s 60 Year Celebration. In a game of big plays, Trinity ended up on the wrong side of the 34-38 final.

Defense Leads Lions Surge

The Trinity Bible College Lions traveled to New Ulm, MN to face Martin Luther College this past weekend. After a dismal first half, the Lions, led by their defense forcing 5 turnovers on the day, were able to put a strong showing on the field that the final score of 14-54 did not reflect.

The first play of the game would be an indication of how the entire first half would play out for the Lions. Martin Luther used a trick play to get in the end zone that really dampened the Lions’ spirits.

Linthicum and Berry lead the Lions vs. Crown

The Trinity Bible College Lions traveled to St. Bonifacious this past weekend to play Crown College and encountered an experienced team that made things hard on our young Lions.  The Lions lost the game 14-63 in a game of big plays.

The defense held on Crown’s first possession, stopping the Storm inside of the Lions’ 10 yard line.  But following a turnover, Crown took a 7-0 lead.

Trinity struggles against Mayville State

Last weekend our Lions football team traveled to face off with the Mayville State Comets at Jerome Berg Field in Mayville North Dakota. The Lions put forth great effort but lost to the Comets. The Lions went scoreless in the first quarter and started the second down 17-0. In the second quarter, QB Clint Linthicum had a Touchdown pass to Cameron Martell with just 2 minutes left in the half. At the start of the second half the Lions would trail the Comets 31-7. Our Lions were scoreless in the third quarter and
