Rev G.L. (Jack) Strom To Be Installed As President of Trinity Bible College

The Board of Regents of Trinity Bible College is pleased to announce that Rev. G.L. (Jack) Strom is to be installed as the president of Trinity Bible College on May 2, 2008 during the spring commencement service. The service will take place at 11:00 AM in the Ray Ulmer Field House on the college Campus. President Strom will also address the graduating class as the commencement speaker.

Nearly $40,000 in scholarships was awarded to students who will be continuing their education at Trinity Bible College in the 2008 - 2009 school year. Lions Track Compete in Al Cassell Relays - Huwa Ties Record

The Trinity Track Team competed at Jamestown College last weekend finishing in 8th place.  Senior Sprinter Heston Huwa took 7th place in the 100 Meter and 5th place in the 200 Meter.  Freshmen Sprinter Greg Washington ran a personal best in the 100 Meter finishing in 12th place.  Sophomore Sprinter Jordan Braunberger set a new school record in the 800 Meter with 2:25.90 and Freshmen Sprinter Kevin Gilleland also set a new school record in the 400 Meter with 1:00.84.

May Term In Morocco

This May, nine students and faculty from Trinity will spend twelve days together in Morocco. For the first time, students have the choice to take the trip for Intercultural Studies credit or for History credit. Our plans include travel to four major cities and two villages, an overnight stay with a Moroccan family, giving dental training to children in an orphanage, making Moroccan friends, and encouraging those who live and work in Morocco full time.

Scholarships Available for the 2008 - 2009 School Year

Scholarship Money

Each year Trinity Awards over $40,000.00 to students who are continuing their education at TBC next academic year.

These scholarships are awarded according to the donor's instructions and interests. All are awarded based upon an application being submitted.

Unplugged

We are having another Unplugged concert this Thursday, April 10th, at 10:05pm in the Student Life Center. Student Government is also hosting a visual art display/contest during the concert. We are looking for artists who would like to participate. If you are interested please submit your art (minimal size of 8x10, and framed) to Student Government by 5:00pm Wednesday, April 9th.

Filing for an Incomplete

INCOMPLETE GRADES

An incomplete is negotiated when the student has failed to meet specific and important requirements of a course because of extenuating circumstances but has in other aspects done passing work for the semester. Such negotiations will take place between the student, the instructor, and the department chair under which the instructor teaches. In those instances where the department chair is the instructor, a second chair will be involved in the negotiation process.
