Evangelism

Community Action

This ministry serves the people of the community. The purpose is to show Christ's love to the people of Ellendale through our deeds, to edify and encourage other believers through our service. We want to build a greater sense of unity between the college and our community. Physical labor, such as leaf raking, snow shoveling, and house painting demonstrates Christian love. This team leads the annual fall Community Work Day.

Native American Ministries

The Native American Ministry Team ministers at both churches and reservations in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Minnesota. Christ is shared with both natives and others of all ages through preaching, teaching, drama, music, door-to-door evangelism, street witnessing, and testimonies. Trinity's location offers a unique opportunity to reach out to surrounding Native American communities. This team hosts the Trail of Hope Native Youth Convention each spring.

Evangelism takes on a variety of ministry forms including street ministry and door-to-door evangelism. Street ministry takes students to the lost wherever they may be, using one-on-one witnessing and tracts. Door-to-door evangelism in conjunction with discipleship by the local church has proven to be effective. Student Ministry requirements can be met through this exciting ministry.

Hearts Aflame is a ministry to the inner cities of America. Through extended trips and coordination with other ministries, students reach out to multi-ethnic metropolitan areas.

Special Teams

At the request of a church or other organizations, Trinity is able to provide specialized teams to meet given needs. These special teams have ranges from community cleanup, worship leading, light church remodeling, support personnel for special events, Sunday School teaching, etc. The Student Ministries department coordinates these special teams.
