The
Trinity Bible College Lions Men’s basketball team headed to Belcourt, ND for
their first road game of the season. They faced off against NIAC Conference foe
Turtle Mountain Community College. The Lions came out slow, taking a little
over four minutes to score their first basket of the game. The game remained
close with both teams taking leads at various points in the game. The Lions
would get the lead with just over six minutes left in the game and would hold
onto the lead to win 80 to 70. The win moves the Lions to 3-0 on the young season
and 3-0 in the NIAC conference. Junior guard Mikey Rosario (Fort Worth, TX) led
the team in scoring with 31 points, he added eight rebounds and seven assists.
Sophomore center Joshua Bialik (Delta Junction, AK) led the Lions in rebounding
with 11, he also had eight points and one block. Junior guard Michael Rohrbach
(Aberdeen, SD) came off the bench to contribute 17 points, seven rebounds and
four assists. The next game for the Lions is Tuesday, November 15th
against Mayville State University, in Mayville, ND.
