The lady lions are rallying around their prior season falling four points short in the regional championship game.  They have set new goals and aspirations to exceed the early terminated season from last year.  The team will feature two seniors this year in Jessie Wagler and senior captain JaNae Molan.  They have dedicated four years to our program and we extend our gratitude and hope to make the last year the best!  The Lions look forward to gaining some experience in their program with the addition of three transfers Hannah Kovarik, Treva Nutter and Kelby Wiederhold.  The ladies are quickly adapting to the system and will be a huge asset to our program.  Sarah Wold will be the only true freshman playing for the Lions this year.  She is showing measureable progress and finding her niche in the transition to college basketball.  The team will return a strong presence from last year only losing one senior.   Sophomore and Honorable Mention All-American Tatiana Alualu was a strong presence on the floor for the Lions last year and we look forward to having her back along with three of our teams’ other starting five: leading rebounder Kayla Droste, Junior Shianne Montgomery and Kylie Flemmer who lead the team in steals.  Coach Rachael Nowell and her first year assistant Colby Simonsen are excited about the product they get to put on the floor this year!
