On February 29,2008, the Board of Trustees of Trinity Bible College elected Rev. G.L. (Jack) Strom as President of Trinity. During these past four years President Strom has distinguished himself in fulfilling the role of President of the college. With commitment and diligence in carrying out the Mission of the college, President Strom has exemplified integrity and passion in meeting the challenge of his office. Jack and his wife Barb have created an identity of relationships in the office, on the campus, and in the church at large in their day-to-day leadership role.
Some time ago, President Strom shared with Rev. Steve Schaible; Chairman of the Board of Trustees, that he felt his time of service in the office of President was coming to a close. On February 19, he submitted his letter of resignation to Chairman Schaible.
At the same time the Lord was guiding Rev. Strom in his plans for transition from the office of President of the college, in God's providence and timing, the Holy Spirit was at work preparing the life and readiness of new leadership that would come to the awareness of the Board of Trustee "...for such a time as this."
At a special called meeting of the Board of Trustees on March 7, 2012, Dr. Paul Alexander was elected as the eighth President of Trinity Bible College. Drs. Paul and Carol Alexander come to Trinity with credentials, giftings, and experience that are right for the present and future of the college.
Dr. Alexander most recently, for the past eight years, served as president of Mattersey Hall College and Graduate School, located in Mattersey, England. This is the Assemblies of God College in the UK. Drs. Paul and Carol Alexander have an extensive history of pastoral, evangelistic, and ministerial experience. Dr. Alexander's PhD is from Bangor University, Wales and it centers on a missional rationale for theological education and training and includes a thorough examination of the interface between the church and Christian higher education.
President-Elect Dr. Alexander will assume his duties as President mid summer and will be formally installed as President in the fall at the start of the new academic session. The Board of Trustees invites you to join with them in prayer during these important days of transition for Trinity Bible College.
