Last Friday Carol and I attended the funeral of Lowell
Lundstrom who, amongst many other things served as a President here at
Trinity. It was a moving event, God
honoring and a fitting tribute to a man of faith.
It was impossible to miss the evangelistic fervor that
obviously was a major part of Lowell’s life.
I never met him but by the end of the funeral I was deeply impacted by
his commitment to seeing the lost come to Christ. It is testament to what can be accomplished
through a life totally committed to Christ’s cause and mission.
At the end of the service a challenge was given to those who
would desire a double portion of the anointing that was upon Lowell Lundstrom’s
life. I quickly stood and held my hands
out in expectation. In my leadership of
Trinity I deeply desire that we would have God’s favor in mobilizing many to
mission, evangelism and church planting.
May we see hundreds raised up to serve in this way over the coming
years. Please join me in prayer that
these great qualities will be an obvious distinctive at TBC.
For His cause,
Dr Paul Alexander
