Senior guard Treva Nutter was named the National
Christian College Athletic Association Student Athlete of the Week of DII Women’s
Basketball. Treva was a three time winner of this award in her junior year and
this is her first of this year. Congratulations Treva!

Summary for recipient: Treva Nutter, senior guard from Trinity Bible College, helped lead the Lady
Lions to two wins over the weekend. On Friday night Treva put up a near
quadruple double with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 9 steals in a close
two point win over Fort Berthold Community College 69 to 67. The next day Treva
again led the Lady Lions to another win 73 to 63 as she recorded a near triple
double with 28 points (20 of those coming in the second half) 10 steals, 7
rebounds and 5 assists. On the weekend Treva went 13 for 25 from the field (52
percent), 2 for 5 on threes (40 percent) and 17 for 20 from the free throw line
(85 percent). For the two games in the week Treva averaged 22.5 points per
game, 8 rebounds per game, 7 assists per game and 9.5 steals per game. The two
wins helped move the Lady Lions to 11-12 on the season.
