The Trinity Bible College Lady Lions have had an amazing last two seasons of basketball. They captured their first North Central Region title a year ago and headed to their first NCCAA National Tournament in over 20 years and then this season they were given an At-Large bid to the NCCAA National Tournament after getting upset in the North Central Region Championship game. Before they had a chance to get the tournament under way first was the NCCAA Awards Banquet in which the Lady Lions received two prestigious awards. First senior Shianne Montgomery was named NCCAA Honorable Mention All-American. Then for the second straight year senior Treva Nutter was named NCCAA First Team All-American. Senior Shianne Montgomery finishes her four year career with the Lady Lions with numerous awards and with 1266 points, 518 rebounds, and 202 made three pointers. Treva Nutter finishes her two years with the Lady Lions 1629 points and a two-time NCCAA First Team All-American, and two-time NCCAA North Central Region Player of the Year.
