Heston Huwa tied his previously set school record in the 100 Meter with an 11.34 last weekend at the Jamestown College Al Cassell Relays. Although he has been plagued with wrist and hamstring injuries throughout his college career, he currently holds the school's outdoor records for the 100 Meter, 200 Meter, the indoor 55 Meter and 60 Meters and anchored the school's record in the outdoor 4x100 Meter Relay. Huwa has qualified for both the Outdoor and Indoor NCCAA National Championships as a Sophomore, Junior and as a Senior. Huwa is ranked 10th in the nation for the Outdoor 100 Meter and looks to improve this weekend at Nationals. Along with his Track & Field success, he also plays for the Lions baseball team, football team and is majoring in Physical Education. He will be doing his student teaching in the Fall semester and will graduate in December.
