Mallory Malm Receives NCCAA DII Academic All-American Honors

Mallory MalmTrinity Bible College Lady Lions' Junior Mallory Malm was honored by being selected to the NCCAA Division II Academic All-American team for the 2007-2008 season. To qualify for the Academic All-American honor a student must be in their junior or senior year and have an accumulative grade point average of 3.4 or higher. "This is a great honor for an athlete to achieve," Coach Snowden said. "She takes a lot of pride in the classroom and her abilities on the floor."

For the season, Mallory led the team in scoring, averaging 16.4 per game. She played in 19 games and scored 312 points on the season, while shooting 41.3% overall from the field. She also hit 6 of 16 from the three point line for an average of 37.5% on the season. Mallory was second on the team with 8.9 rebounds per contest. She led the team in free throw percentage at 71%, blocks with 2.2, and steals at 2.1 per game.
