The Lions Track Team competed at the National Christian College Athletic Association Track and Field Championships last weekend. In one of the fastest years on record for nationals, Heston Huwa set a new school record in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 11.14. Huwa now holds school records in the outdoor 100 Meter, 200 Meter, 4x100 relay, indoor 55 Meter and 60 Meter. He was also a co-captain this season and will be student teaching in the fall to complete his education degree. Junior Sprinter and co-captain Caleb Bialik ran a personal best time in the 200 Meter with 26.48. Everyone on the team this year showed great improvement and personal best times. It has been a wonderful season for the Trinity Lions Track & Field team. We look forward to the potential next year with Senior Caleb Bialik and Junior Jordan Braunberger leading the way.
