In its first outdoor meet of the 2008 season, the Lions Track team set a host of personal records showing their ability to compete at a Division II level. The team was led by sophomore sprinter Jeremiah West who tied for 3rd place with an (11.2) in the 100m.
Senior sprinter Heston Huwa took 6th place running an (11.3) in the 100m. West and Huwa also took 10th and 16th respectively in the 200m. Following their lead was freshman sprinter Greg Washington, posting personal bests in the 100m and 200m. Junior sprinter, Caleb Bialik also set a new personal record in the 100m
