Position: Residential Child/Youth Care Worker

Job Commitment: Full-Time

Estimated Salary Range: $1500 - $1600 monthly

Required Qualifications:
-Must be 21 years of age or older,
-Prefer 2 years of college but not required.
-A desire to see young people's lives changed. Our young people are between the ages of 10 to 18 yr old and have been placed in a Therapeutic Residential Child Care Facility.

Recommended Qualifications:
Someone who can show tough love, compassion, consistent accountability, empathy and show a Christ like positive role model to hurting young people.

Description of Church/Organization:
Kidz Ark is a Therapeutic Residential Child Care Facility. Licensed with the state of Colorado for boys and girls between the ages of 10-21. We work with at risk, duel diagnosed, and behavioral youth. Residents are placed in a house setting most houses max at 12 youth. Staff works with them on behavioral and life skill issues.

Description of Community:
We are located on the plains of Eastern Colorado. Sterling is looked at as the hub of the Eastern plains. Population is approximately 14,000 people. We are 1-1/2 hours from Denver and the front range.
