Junior Year
September - February
___ Befriend your Guidance Counselor
___ Get involved in activities
___ Check into any scholarships awarded to Juniors
___ Learn about other student aid: scholarships, grants, etc.
March-April
___ Register to take the ACT (Test: Dec. 8, 2007; Feb. 9, April, 12, June 14, 2008)
___ Register to attend Spring College Days April 3-5, 2008
May-August
___ Begin to compare colleges
___ Pray about what God’s direction is for your life
Senior Year
November
___ Get involved in activities in your church, school, and community
___ Begin to estimate college costs
___ Register to take the ACT (Test: Dec. 8, 2007; Feb. 9, April, 12, June 14, 2008)
___ Start the scholarship search
___ Submit College Application
December
___ Have a great Christmas!!!!!!
January
___ File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
___ If you haven’t applied yet, Do it!
___ Register to take the ACT (Test: February 9, April 12, June 14, 2008)
___ Continue the scholarship search
___ Apply for the President’s Scholarship Due March 1
February
___ Finalize scholarship applications
___ Begin narrowing your college options
___ Register to attend Spring College Days April 3-5,2007
March-April
___ Attend College Days!!!
___ Complete Financial Aid forms
___ Compare costs and FA awards from different schools
May-July
___ Notify colleges of your final decision
___ Request an official transcript be sent to the college after graduation
___ Begin the early registration process for classes
___ Check on housing assignments
___ Contact your Roommate to see who will bring what items
___ Make sure your Financial Aid file is complete
___ Confirm that your High School sent an official transcript

___ Start Packing
