Food Service Assistant Manager at Trinity Bible College

The purpose of this position is to assist the Director in his role as the Food Services Director at Trinity Bible College. The Assistant Manager will perform duties similar to the director, taking on the responsibilities of a manager during the director’s absence.

Job duties will include but are not limited to the following:
1. Cook
2. Assist in maintaining cost and quality standards to ensure superior service and to maximize profit
3. Supervise and work directly with student employees in the Food Services Department
4. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Trinity Bible College policies and applicable laws
5. Interview and hire new employees
6. Train new employees
7. Plan, assign and direct the work for special food service events
8. Reward and discipline of employees
9. Address complaints and resolve problems

Experience in food services management training and certification or degree in the food services field are preferred, but not required. A valid, good standing driver license is required. Applicant must have a professional appearance and willingness to work hard.
