Class: Contemporary Models of Missional Leadership
Taught by Dr. Paul Alexander, President
This course seeks to allow the student to evaluate a variety of models for leadership. With an eye on sustainability and viability, the student is encouraged to explore different models, identify such models currently in practice, and be able to motivate appropriate principles for his or her own leadership context.

Class: The Biblical Theology of Justice
Taught by Dr. Noel Sanderson, Director of External and Online Programs
Combining biblical studies and theology, this course identifies the overarching biblical narrative of God’s love for the poor, the widow, the orphan, and the foreigner. Based on the Talmudic concept of Jubilee this course will trace the messianic story of the Bible culminating in the coming of Christ to bring the message of the Kingdom of God. Having established a theological rationale, this course will then explore contemporary models of expressing God’s Kingdom through acts of service, the establishment of ministries of mercy, and the responsibility of the contemporary church to be a voice for the oppressed and an advocate for the poor.

FAQs

How much does the program cost?
The M.A. Missional Leadership is $23,633 including tuition and fees. That number does not include travel costs and accommodations while traveling.

How much of a time commitment is this on a weekly basis?
Most people can complete the program in 2-3 years by working about an hour per day, plus some extra time on the weekends to complete assignments.

Are there scholarships available?
Trinity's Graduate School doesn't offer federal financial aid, but we do have a 20% tuition waiver for credential-carrying ministers, an early application waiver, and special waivers for Trinity alumni, denominational leadership (state and national), and others! Don't be afraid to ask about whether or not you qualify - we work very hard to keep our rates and waivers extremely competitive.

Can I complete the program online?
All of the M.A. Missional Leadership, as well as significant portions of our other Master's programs, can be completed online from anywhere in the world (with an internet connection).

Is the program accredited?
All of our programs at Trinity are accredited through ABHE, Association for Biblical Higher Education, which is a US Department of Education recognized accrediting body.

What if I don't have a Bachelor's degree? Could I still get into the graduate program?
We have a program called Alternative Pathway that takes things like non-accredited education and ministerial experience into account when considering non-Bachelor's degree holding applicants. Many of our best students have completed a Master’s degree via the Alternative Pathway.
