About

Paul’s primary expertise falls within the ministry field of Chaplaincy. In 2022, through his Ph.D. studies, he created a Spiritual Readiness and Resiliency (R2) tool called, “Pathfinder.” It was trained to over a thousand Chaplains, Leaders, and Soldiers at U.S. Army installations around the world. It is a recognized “Best Practice” Spiritual Resiliency model for the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps. Paul spent 8 years working as an Airborne and Special Operations Chaplain. He earned a Bronze Star with the 82nd Airborne Division in Iraq. He has combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and a Peace Keeping deployment to Kosovo. He also deployed to Eastern Europe as a Division Chaplain in operation Atlantic Resolve in 2017 as part of an American deterrent force to Russian aggression. He finished his Army career serving as a Family Life Chaplain at Fort Huachuca, AZ. There, as the subject matter expert (SME) in pastoral counseling, he trained Battalion Chaplains in the art and science of pastoral counseling skills. He conducted marriage and family therapy, trauma therapy for Soldiers and Families, and pastored at the Main Post Chapel. His current calling is in the position of Minister Care Lead with the Pennsylvania-Delaware Ministry Network (AoG) in Mechanicsburg, PA

Paul is married to the Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Lynn for 30 years, and they have 5 children. He enjoys training and running marathons and ultra-marathons. He’s a two-time Boston Marathon qualifier. He’s run ultra-marathons in Alaska, Texas, and New Mexico. In November 2022 he ran a double-crossing (Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim) of the Grand Canyon, over 47 miles in 18 hours.
