Ian gained marketplace experience and married Heather, his high school sweetheart, before entering full-time ministry.

Ian and Heather ministered in Cape Town, South Africa for 14 years in 3 different churches before they moved with their three children to serve in pastoral ministry for another 4 years on the east coast of the USA. Ian has served as a trainee, assistant, associate, teaching, church-planting and senior pastor, the latter being for a period of nearly 10 years. His ministry experience has included leading through times of revival and explosive growth, as well as other environments where churches required rescue and renewal.

Ian joined Trinity in 2012 and served in Student Development for nearly 4 years. He currently serves as Executive Vice-President. He loves working at Trinity because there is no better place to fulfill his personal mission statement: “To Inspire People to reach their full God-given Potential”.
