Computer Facilities

Public Accessible Computers

The library provides three Internet access computers for searching the online catalog, using licensed resources, email and surfing the web. Two are located in the Reference Room and one is located in the lower floor of the library. All are available for public use. Ask for login information at the circulation desk.

Student Computer Lab

There is a computer lab with twelve stations in the Reference Room. Academic work has priority and use is limited to one hour if others are waiting.

Wireless Access

The library is part of the wireless network on campus. Outlets are available in all study areas and along the ledge of the Reference Room. Plug adapters may be checked out from the circulation desk if needed.

Printer, Copier, Laminating, and Binding Services

Printer & Copier

A color printer/copier/scanner is available in the Reading Room on the main floor of the library. PIN numbers or user ID and password are needed for access. Students are given this information at the time of registration. If you have any questions regarding PIN numbers please contact the IT office.

Binding & Laminating Service

Basic book repairs, laminating and spiral binding services are available through the library. Laminating is $.15 per sheet. Materials are not for sale to individuals. Work must be performed by library personnel. Twenty-four (24) hour notice is appreciated for more than 10 sheets; large orders require at least one week.

Study Areas

Quiet Study Area Policies

Excessive noise will not be tolerated in the study areas. Students will be warned once and on further notice will be asked to leave the library. Head phones must be used when listening to videos or music and must be kept at a level so that the sound cannot be heard by those nearby.

Ina Graham Conference Room

The Ina Graham Conference Room is available for small classes, meetings and group study. A study group consists of no less than three (3) people. This room is not available for use by less than three people. A schedule is posted on the wall. To make arrangements for using this room, inquire at the circulation desk.

Esther Zink Room

Small group study is allowed in the Esther Zink Room, located on the lower level of the library.

Reading Room

The Reading Room, located on the main level of the library, contains five booths and two chairs and tables for additional seating. This room is intended to be a more casual study area.

Reference Room

The Reference Room, located on the main level of the library, is intended for quiet reading and study. Group study is not allowed in this area.
